A Glasgow boy comes home - Only UK gigs for Dire Straits David Knopfler
It is an incredible privilege to have David Knopfler playing Backstage at The Green. Born in Glasgow and brought up in the North of England David has spent many years in the US and many years since playing in Scotland.

Green Hotel Innovation Award for Backstage at The Green Music Venue
All at Mundell Music are delighted that The Green Hotel has been given the Innovation Award for 2011 for "Backstage at The Green". The award was made by by The Scottish Hotel Awards on 27th March at The Thistle Hotel in Glasgow.

Mac co-wrote many Faces hits, including Cindy Incidentally, You're So Rude and Three Button Hand Me Down. His distinctive Wurlitzer electric piano can be heard on the Faces' Stay With Me and the Rolling Stones' smash Miss You. It was Mac's trademark B3 you hear on Small Faces' Itchycoo Park, Rod Stewart's Maggie May and You Wear It Well.
